Libra Travel operates coaches, buses and minibuses in the South West supplying local bus services and school transport.
Libra Travel is a family run business that operates from the small village of Chilcompton, Somerset, supplying services for Somerset County Council, West of England Combined Authority and Wiltshire Council. Vehicles are maintained to the highest standard to ensure safety and reliability.
Bus Services Disruptions
Service 184 – Unable to Serve Stratton-on-the-Fosse.
Due to a road closure between Holcombe and Stratton-on-the-Fosse, the 184 service is currently unable to serve Stratton-on-the-Fosse. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Please contact us for further information.
Service Updates.
Service 669 - Final Day of Operation is Saturday 20th December 2025.
We would like to inform our passengers that Saturday 20th December will be Libra Travel’s final day operating Service 669.
Following the recent tendering process, we were unsuccessful in retaining the contract for this route. From Monday 22nd December, FromeBus will take over operation of the 669 service. The timetable and fares will remain the same.
Update 668 (Effective from 22/04/2025)
We’ve made a timetable update to accommodate three additional visits to Avalon Marshes Centre. Some times have been adjusted slightly throughout, so please be sure to check the updated timetable
£3 Fare Cap Services
The following routes are included in the government-funded £3 fare cap: 184, 668, 519, 649, 31 and 94.
